Torqeedo 1130

Ever since before we even started sailing, we knew we didn’t want to use a petrol outboard.

Our Torqeedo has powered our dinghy since the very beginning of our adventure, and we love how light and maneuverable it is. It’s also very easy to store (as opposed to a petrol outboard, it does not need to be stowed upright) and incredibly quiet.

In petrol-powered dinghies, you can barely have a conversation. With our dinghy, we can sneak up on our friends on anchor ;)

Depending on how fast we go and how far the dinghy dock is, we are able to make the battery last between five days to two weeks.

It has been six years we use a Torweedo at the time of writing this, and needless to say, we’ll never own a petrol outboard.
