Takacat 340S

We only have good things to say about our Takacat. Because it is a catamaran dinghy, it drags a lot less than a regular one, making it the best possible dinghy to use with electric propulsion.

Because it is fully inflatable, it is incredibly lightweight and packs small. This was very important to us, as we have a small boat and we want to pack up the dinghy before any offshore passage.

It is also a lot more stable than any other dinghy we’ve ever stepped foot it. We can step anywhere on the tubes or on the platform, it won’t tip.

It can take up to 6 people comfortably, and we never lack the space whenever we need to provision or haul three weeks of laundry to shore.

We have had a Takacat for over 6 years now, and we have no plan to change to anything else!
