A couple of days ago, we released a video about “how we are going back to Polar Seal”. At the time we published it, we weren’t sure that it was a good idea to make it public anymore, but eventually decided that it was part of the story.
So here we go… Because our safety is our number one priority, and we eventually found the risk level of the Atlantic Crossing on a motoryacht to be above the limit we set for ourselves, Ryan and I made a very difficult decision and decided to bail out of crewing.
Although we will wait until our emotions are settled to tell the details of why we felt that way, we figured that it was still very much a story that we want to tell. Besides, we’re up for grabs and could use a few thoughts right now :)
